We are less than two weeks away from the launch of the Galaxy S8 now, and we have a little rumor about the camera capable of shooting video at 1000fps.
The extra frames per second mean that you will be able to slow down videos even more in just a few seconds of recording. This also means there is more flexibility of choosing playback speed overall and freedom to have smooth video across the range.
Samsung will be using a similar solution for this achievement. The Galaxy S8 camera will sport an additional DRAM memory element between the camera’s sensor and the circuitry of the image signal processor.
